Dr. Caitlin Redding, movement advocate & sports chiropractor

I treat with movement, various soft tissue techniques, rock tape and blades, chiropractic adjustments and mobilizations.

But beyond all that and more importantly, I treat the patient sitting directly in front of me, as a whole person who can have more than one problem and with an individualized solution.

Treating the whole person means listening; it requires building rapport and working within the boundaries of evidence but not being confined by them. I work hard to be an ally and resource for my patients and an educator to help them gain the tools to be their own health advocates. So many factors and decisions contribute to our health, happiness and well being - it is imperative to take action and become involved in your own health.

Pain is never an isolated event and healing effectively involves looking at the whole self. Although I treat pain, my goal is to help my patients move better and gain function beyond pain management.

My Treatment Paradigm

I always start with listening then move on to examinations and screenings. I dissect your movements and your patterns. We discuss lifestyle habits, nutrition, and stress. I diagnose and we formulate treatment plans. This is all done guided by evidence based science, clinical judgement and your individual presentation.

I expect and encourage my patients to become active participants in their care as we work together. I work hard to educate and explain diagnoses and prognosis in a meaningful and accessible way that will help the treatment and healing process be practical and manageable. I work with all my patients to improve function and movement in their lives starting from the very first visit.

We work together to set goals and make progress towards those goals one step at a time. I aim to be accessible and transparent throughout this process. I work hard to educate and explain diagnoses in a meaningful and accessible way.

The experience is different for each patient because each patient is different. As we develop rapport and trust through the healing process, patients usually gain empowerment over their own health and movement patterns outside of the office.

These are my promises to you as your practitioner with your healthiest self in mind.
